Gematria how to read

and write it

gematria is a method of assigning numerical value to a word or phrase in order to increase its spiritual meaning. A variation of this technique is commonly used in the Hebrew language, where each character of the Hebrew alphabet is also assigned a numerical value. While the practice of Gematria is generally associated with particular religious beliefs, it can be used by anyone seeking to explore the symbolism hidden within words and numbers.

To read gematria, one must become familiar with the values assigned to the characters themselves. In Hebrew and Aramaic gematria, words are built from individual letters whose values each add to the total numerical value of that word. In Arabic gematria, however, each letter is given a separate numerical value but they never add up to anything more than their own values alone. Regardless of which language you are using, understanding these numerical values is essential for properly interpreting the meanings encoded into words using gematria.

Once you have determined the numerical value of an individual letter or character, you can then use simple addition and subtraction to form whole-word combinations that carry deeper spiritual or prophetic meaning. A common example is when two words which share similar characters form significant numerical relationships when put together. For instance, if two words with values 6 and 8 were both represented numerically as 6+8 = 14 (6+8 = 14). This combination would be seen as having special significance by those who practice Gematria.
